Semi-Annual Maintenance
In accordance with university policies, Access Control patches all service-related hardware devices to their latest stable releases, twice each year. The spring patch cycle occurs in late June through early July with the winter cycle running in late January through early February.
A few weeks prior to each cycle, we will start communicating with you to raise awareness and notify you of pending schedules. When you are notified of a pending patch cycle, you are responsible for taking note of your unit's scheduled days and times. If you discover a conflict with a schedule, please contact us as soon as possible by submitting a ticket to Access Control Support; we will work with you to adjust your schedule.
*Note: units with large installations that geographically span campus may find they have multiple scheduled outages.
